Be Yourself. Be Happy.

Of the grand order of folio leviathans, the Sperm Whale and the Right Whale are by far the most noteworthy. They are the only whales regularly hunted by man. To the Nantucketer, they present the two extremes of all the known varieties of the whale. As the external difference between them is mainly observable in their heads; and as a head of each is this moment hanging from the Pequod's side.

Stay Positive. Always.

Drone Madness: Here is the Antidote

For those of us who, through the years, have been through wave after wave of uncritical and sensational UFO stories in the media, the current obsession with (and jumping to unwarranted conclusions about) mysterious drones seems all too familiar.  As before, untrained observers, even government officials, are describing things in the sky without having much information or perspective about what they are seeing.

But I have the antidote. Mick West, a retired video-game programmer, science writer, and careful, skeptical investigator, has become the most skilled and effective debunker of UFO-related stories working today.

I am happy to report that he has produced a short video in which he takes a smart and skeptical look at the current craze of drone sightings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK4HFxzsjgo

I made a short URL for it: http://bit.ly/dronecraze

Enjoy and relax!
